Olivia Amodeo

Undergraduate Student


Olivia Amodeo is a Duke-PRIME Cancer Research Program Scholar in the 2024 cohort and is returning as a Peer Mentor helping support the success of the next cohort. Olivia is currently an undergraduate student at the University of Connecticut studying Molecular and Cell Biology in the Honors Program. She is actively involved in cancer research studying Lynch Syndrome at the Center for Molecular Oncology at UConn Health School of Medicine. Following graduation, she plans to pursue graduate school studying cancer biology, with a particular interest in pharmacology and personalized medicine. In her free time, Olivia enjoys spending time outdoors by hiking and skiing, going to concerts, and trying out new coffee shops.
