A recent Duke University School Of Medicine article discussed the Khasraw lab’s leadership in the development and clinical testing of EGFRvIII-BRiTE (APTN-101), a newly-developed immunotherapy for glioblastoma. Specifically, Kirit led the multidisciplinary team that finalized the BRiTE drug for clinical trials, helping advance the therapy from Duke’s decade-long research program into a treatment ready for human testing, while also contributing to the broader development of the BRiTE platform.
Dr. Khasraw is the principal investigator of the phase I first-in-human trial, overseeing the study tto evaluate safety, appropriate dosing, and potential clinical benefit in patients with glioblastoma.
