Today, Dr. Khasraw gave a wonderful presentation on perioperative glioblastoma immunotherapy trials at the Duke Cancer Institute IO-NO 2026 retreat, featuring strategies from the GIANT trial among others. This work aims to harness immune checkpoint inhibitors — namely nivolumab (anti-PD-1) and relatlimab (anti-LAG-3) — alongside surgical resection and standard of care TMZ & radiation to improve outcomes for patients facing intractable glioblastoma.
